Getting Started & beyond

7. Automatic Control

      7.4 Humidifier

When auto mode is ON, output is regulated according to ambient humidity RH.
For this purpose, only 2 parameters are necessary:
Hum Start and Hum Stop.

When RH is equal to Hum Start, output is ON.
When RH is equal to Hum Stop, output is OFF.

Notes:
If Hum Start < Hum Stop, output is in humidifier mode.
I
f Hum Start > Hum Stop, output is in de-humidifier mode.

Examples:

Humidifier mode:
Hum Start = 60% and Hum Stop = 70%

Whenever RH is inferior or equal to 60%, output is activated, for example an ultrasonic humidifier, until RH rises above 70% (or equal).

De-humidifier mode:
Hum Start = 70% and Hum Stop = 60%

Whenever RH is superior or equal to 70%, output is activated, for example an extractor fan, until RH drops below 60% (or equal).
